... He has this particular pattern of speech that I recognize from the narcissists that I've endured in my life whenever they try to convince people to buy in to their bullshit... It's a weird sing-songy speech pattern where they obviously believe the power of their words will simply de facto establish or impose their perception of reality onto others.
Make a contention. Insist on crowd acknowledgment. Tell them what they should feel "Think about it." Agree with the crowd reaction as if it's the first time he's been validated, which in turn validates the crowd response.
Asking and answering their own questions, saying "you know this is true", "everybody believes", etc.
It really makes me sick to my stomach in a visceral way because I've heard this for years before Trump.

1) Tell them what you're about to say.
2) Say it.
3) Tell them what you just said.
The human brain is super susceptible to this trick. It makes information stick better, and it makes you agree with it more readily when it's presented in this manner.
