I hope this is not too simple and basic to merit your serious consideration.
We are Democrats---liberal, moderate, democratic socialist, progressive---we are Democrats.
We often disagree with each other as to HOW to achieve our goals, but I think there is 80% to 90% agreement as to WHAT those goals are. Given the time to thoughtfully compare and reconcile our various policy suggestions, we would unite behind our party's candidate and sweep Donald Trump into the proverbial "dustbin of history". But, as I tap these keys, massive resources are being deployed by the PTB to deny "thoughtful" consideration of anything. They're determined to "stampede the herd" and scatter us into so many groups and sub-groups that we refuse to unite behind any Democratic nominee.
A well-financed army of quislings, trolls, hackers, spies and provocateurs is preparing to exploit our genuine differences and create new ones. There is no lie they will not tell; no person they will not slander; no standard of decency by which they are bound. Their job is to drive wedges between us---or through us, if that's more convenient. The people employing them are ruthless and see US as an existential threat to the continuation of their lives of excess and unquestioned privilege.
Folks,---clench your fists, grit your teeth, bite your tongue, do whatever it is you do when you have to make a decision you are not TOTALLY ok with---but, damn it, vote for the Democratic nominee and take at least five friends with you to the polls!
