A young man who two years ago wrote racist and anti-Semitic words isn’t going to the nation’s oldest college after all.

This is fine. While we don’t want a world in which people live in eternal fear that their worst teenage moments will be weaponized against them, admissions officers must take not only academic prowess but character into account. Virtuous young men and women get rewarded; those who have said and done nasty things can suffer consequences.
