6. if Rumps wins re-election and we fail to re-take the Senate in 2020 or even 2022

it ends BADLY (losing the House on top of those other two would exponentially speed things up).

If Rump stacks the SCOTUS to 7-2 or even 8-1 hard RW, plus the Rethugs manipulate the 2020 Census and retain a shit tonne of state legislatures, they will do a massive new push (a full decade long) of gerrymandering and voter suppression, plus roll up crazy case after crazy case to a RW SCOTUS to roll back ALL civil rights, abortion, etc etc since Brown v Board (and including Brown itself.)

That scenario almost guarantees huge Blue state pushes for Succession starting in the late 2020's, gathering speed (if no systemic pressure release valve is loosed) into the 2030's and a breakup/breakout by 2040. The fundies do not just want their own states to have the ability to do soul-crushing civil rights rollbacks, they want to make them the law of the land across ALL 50 states.

I know this sounds hyperbolic, BUT I honestly believe the worst third, hell maybe worst half, of true koolaid-drinking Trumpian scum would ABSOLUTELY approve of re-legalising slavery. If not outright slavery, 100000000% for sure SA-style apartheid.

5. It's about "owning the liberals" and racism

It's like being a sports fan, us against them. They have built up such a belief in evil liberalism (thanks to O'Rielly, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc.) that it is just about hating the other side. They are convinced we are taking away their middle and upper class white priviledge by discriminating against them through this myth of "political correctness." It is a matter of brainwashing, and Trump just stepped in and threw the lid off.

Reality is not as important to them as believing they can get one up on the "libtards."
