Since the Congressional committees aren't making a lot of progress on the Trump issues...

and Trump/Barr have everyone blocked from testifying, why aren't the New York, Washington, etc. courts completing their hearings/investigations? It seems that they would be able to bring forth more criminal activity information than Congress since they are working on financial issues and Congress is working on verifying or getting deeper into the Mueller report information.

Maybe I'm not well enough informed to understand the process, but we've been told there are 12 or 14 investigations going and surely a few of those will finish before it gets much closer to the election. How much time is left before the powers that be end the investigations because of the election?
