Then again, you might think maybe he thinks there are not a lot of lies told about his report, and he has nothing to add to what he has written.

But we wouldn't want to think that.

Wanted as Director of the FBI so much that the president got him an unprecedented extra two years beyond his ten year term limit and both House of Congress approved Mueller’s extension unanimously.
Regarding Mueller’s testimony, on May 8th Trump exerted Executive Privilege over the entire Mueller Report. By subpoenaing Mueller, the Dems would be able to go to court and have a judge invalidate Trump’s Executive Privilege order. If Mueller testifies voluntarily, he would be extremely limited in what he could say.
