‘Two White House reporters from Politico and the Daily Mail are reportedly planning a going-away party next week for White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

“A conservative Black female reporter had openly, in my presence, spoke the wrong words, saying, ‘The only reason you get called on is because you’re black,'" Ryan wrote in the book.

The Washington Examiner reports Ryan revealed during a phone interview that the woman was White House correspondent for the Daily Mail, Francesca Chambers who, again, is also black.

According to Ryan, Chambers believed she was not getting a chance to ask questions because the White House showed some sort of favoritism toward the veteran reporter. Chambers seemingly felt overlooked by former Press Sec. Sean Spicer. Ryan has reported on the White House during the Clinton, Bush and Obama years.

“To this day, those words don’t sit well with me,” Ryan writes. “At that time, I had had enough! ‘Yes!’ I said to her. ‘You ain’t shit!’ In front of everyone, asking her, ‘Who you think you are? You’re Black too, in case you didn’t know it!’”

The 50-year-old is threatening legal action against the Daily Mail if she doesn't receive a public apology for the reporter's alleged comment.
