They egged this shit on very deliberately, since Nixon. Now they've finally stoked it so hot it's ripping apart their usual discipline at keeping it to dog-whistling.

I heard them talking about it on NPR this morning on my way into work and the reporters there said they did not witness it so I hope we find some eyewitness or video evidence. Without that they will just deny it ever happened. Even while secretly applauding the puke who did it.
