There's so much shit I can't keep track of it.... Huge turds the size of gas-guzzling SUVs, shit boulders, shit sky scrapers, deep wreaking ponds of shit like the swamps produced by factory farms in Iowa. Shit like the pinched faces of over-worked, under educated, and corrupted, racist American cops. Shit like ICE. Shit like children in cages and parents missing, and hard cold floors. Shit like the obliteration of a working treaty with Iran followed by games of psychic torture by flying a drone into Iranian airspace and threatening to shit on them for defending themselves. Shit like today's 9th accusation of rape. RAPE. Fucking, god damn RAPE!!!

The shit is everywhere and my eyes are tearing up.

Does anyone happen to know if there is an organization keeping track of all the crimes, lies and rapes committed by our President? Is there a website listing all the horrors of legislation (or the lack thereof) by the party that is keeping him shitting before us in broad daylight?

I want to clean things up.

If you feel overwhelmed take a break. Do stuff you like doing. Reconnect with nature. Stay away from the news. You don’t have to be so hyper aware and on edge. It doesn’t help if you are because that’s how he wins.

5. It gets worse...

Now not only is there a complete shit storm in DC with dt and his complete instability and recklessness but now it is spilling over to the state level.

Republicans have fled Oregon (some to Idaho) in order to deny a vote on climate legislation. The governor has tasked the state police to bring (arrest if necessary) the republicans back to the capital (Salem I believe)... right wing militia’s are now protecting the republicans who fled and are saying they will shoot the police if they try to arrest the republicans. One of the states republican senators said this.

“One of the lawmakers on the lam, Republican Brian Boquist (R), warned that he would resort to violence rather than return to the state, implying in a local television interview that he would attack law enforcement officers sent to retrieve him.

“Send bachelors and come heavily armed,” Boquist said. “I’m not going to be a political prisoner in the state of Oregon. It’s just that simple.”

This is simply insane and I expect this will be copied by other republican senators in other states as legislation comes up that they do not want but are not in the majority. Republicans have gone completely out of their minds. If they are willing to do this over legislation what are they going to do in states where they have the majority but get voted out in the next cycle?

One of the new, unfilled needs of the information society is a good (and sane) summary of ongoing stories. We have mostly random news stories, but few websites that package things simply for busy Americans – and organizes the material according to a theme, say "Trump the Sexual Predator" and "Trump's Support of Oligarchy". New material and links to stories could be sent to each category daily...

I should probably apply for a grant and create such a site.
