I have sat through many rape trials - when questions just like this one were used to "prove" the rape couldn't possibly have happened. Did he touch you first with his right hand or left hand? How many times did he penetrate you? How far? Did he penetrate you with just his fingers, or his penis? Or was it an object? Was he wearing a condom or not? Occasionally with smirks from the rapist at details the survivor couldn't clearly articulate. If he only penetrated you with his fingers, or an object, it wasn't rape at all (until very recently in Ohio). Oh, you couldn't tell, too bad for you we can't convict him.

As a rape survivor, I can't believe this thread was posted in the first place, let alone that it survived a jury. It is extremely offensive.

asked of virtually all rape suvivors who report or take the rapist to court. They are precisely the questions posed to survivors to demonstrate they are lying. What, you can't tell me how big he was? How far he penetrated you? etc. etc. etc. You must not really have been raped.

They are not jokes - and the proper response when this is pointed out by those of us who have had the unfortunate life experience to be traumatized by running across it being treated as a joke is "I'm sorry, and I'll delete it immediately." Not, "Let us have our fun and stop attacking your allies."

Since you aren't the OP, now that you know, you could help by also calling on the OP to delete the thread.
