...,for a fact, that our food supply from south-of-the-border is protected better than children from the same countries.
To be honest, I just do not know what the hell else to say.

Someone should sue them...
Who are the sick bastards who are carrying out the child abuse on these children!??!
"I was following orders" didn't work 70 years ago and it's not going to work now.

(9,895 posts)Justice - in the form of trials for crimes against humanity - awaits these scumbags AND their god-emperor Trumpybear.

(7,947 posts)more than a million members of the military.
and about 6 million pre-schoolers in day-care centers and homes.
We have systems to shelter and feed people. We also have laws and regulations. Any day-care center where children were told to take care of babies... where toddlers walked around in dirty diapers... would be shut down.
Any prison where inmates didn't have access to health care or were given "snacks" instead of meals would be sued.
So... the question is... why doesn't Trump order the very simple solution of treating the children within the regulations?
Because-- as Pence arduously pointed out-- the entire purpose of this is to hurt the children to get leverage for more money for his stupid wall. They could, as many have pointed out, immediately improve the conditions. After all, they're paying the operators hundreds of dollars per child. They could say, "You have to spend some of that on basic hygiene and hire some workers so that older children aren't unpaid staff."
But they want the kids to suffer because they know that Democrats might be swayed by this (as they were with DACA kids) to trade some $ for that idiotic wall.
It's pernicious and perverted. But that's who we have running things now. I would never have thought it was mean cruel abusers all the way down, from the president to the person running the detention center. But then, remember with Bush, he was torturer in chief, and everyone below him all the way down to the prison guards became torturers too.
It's really hard to believe they'd do that to children though. Who comes to mind when you think of centers where children are abused? Mengele?

(2,275 posts)Shouldn't they be taking Trump away in handcuffs? He's using children in a terrorist act AGAINST Americans. Perhaps we've been gaslighted into forgetting that Democrats ARE Americans. And those children, who are from the Americas, are more American than Trump's German immigrant family.
We must repeat these truths like machine guns.
We will prevail.
