Lots of heavy explosions though. It's finally tapering off, but it will probably continue all night into dawn, and then sporadically for a couple weeks thereafter.

neighbor!

I'm in the Entiat Valley. Know where that is? Roughly between Wenatchee and Chelan. Thankfully, no private fireworks allowed in Chelan County any more. I recall driving down the Columbia R. after watching fireworks in Manson from across Lake Chelan (State Park), seeing numerous fires started!

It didn't used to be that way (not so dry?). I also have memories of driving home down the River after watching the city fireworks when private ones were still allowed, watching them go off reflected in the River. Magical beautiful memories. A thing of the past...

I particularly liked Ellensberg, and further east it was pretty much Kansas, with parts very beautiful, but lots of fairly desolate areas...and the wind ..

Spokane area was pretty, but too "red" for us

I do like where we are..almost expect to see Opie & his fishing pole.. Quaint and friendly..

I also liked Yakima

We are in the Cascade foothills on the east side. Check it out on Google Earth sometime.

Maybe we will have a meet up sometime.

Have a good one! Glad we all survived last night! Glad my doggie doesn't have to put up with the loud booms. Thunder scary enough for him!
