Seriously, How Can Bernie Claim to Represent the Democratic Party When He Refuses to Join It?

why democrats support him. He is not a member of the Democratic Party.

Elected officials represent their constituents, not their party. The parties exist to broadly categorize officials and make the legislative process simpler.

that by and large responds to us. If he helps make our platform more inclusive he is good for us.
