They also sent a strong message on impeachment, to more than just Trump.

Then these four women go out and give Don the Con a most cogent, principled and thorough asskicking.

They are strong, powerful women. Rep. Omar did not gloss over Trump’s own, vulgar language. Everyone should watch this historic press conference.

Trump should be terrified. The squad is the future.

Trump’s craven, nationalistic and cowardly base are stuck in a vortex of hate. He and his enablers will be soundly defeated in 2020.

absolutely. nails. it.

You can see what the moderates were thinking: They would score a bipartisan feather in their caps by passing an administration-friendly bill that included money for “border security” in addition to humanitarian relief, just in time for America’s birthday.

Like many Democratic initiatives, this reasoning relies on a ’90s-style model of what the average voter wants—a collaborative relationship between the president and Congress, say, and conservative-leaning immigration policies. But that model doesn’t accord with polling in the Trump era. In 2018, large majorities of voters across the U.S. consistently told pollsters that they wanted to see a Democratic Congress elected to act as “a check” on the administration.

that's what fuels all of the "Dems in turmoil" bullshit. Easy on the Twitter-bashing, confine it to Trump & Co.

When they keep their eyes on the prize, they are a force. Nobody is saying they shouldn't contribute to voices on policy. Just tone down the 'Trumpiness' on social media.

...keeping serious arguments private. And by "private" she is clearly talking about within the Democratic Caucus and in her office, not randomly out in the Twitterverse for Trump to use as a wedge and for the MSM to use for entertainment.

If that's how they want their short careers to be -- as a tool for Trump and the MSM -- fine, go to it. Just don't blame Nancy Pelosi, Elijah Cummings, and others who have spent their lives in struggles these young women can't imagine.

When I'm driving, I will occasionally listen to Wingnut radio to see what's going on in Crazyland.

The Bloated Bloviator was praising Fat Donnie's great plan to reunite Pelosi and the Squad (his term) to reunite the Democrat (sic) Party, and then smear the entire party with the Squad's communism, socialism, and anti-Americanism. He seemed to think that if Trump could do that, he'd win a second term in a walk.

Then I threw up in my mouth and changed to a music station.

Kornacki tried to argue that Trump hasn't been charged with colluding with Russia, but Maxwell corrected him that the Mueller report looked for criminal conspiracy, not ordinary co-operation or co-ordination. On that count, the Mueller report contained many example of the latter. Classic!
