I live in a constant state of dread that he is finally going to do something that will negatively affect us all. I have felt this way since Nov. 2016. All that was profoundly compounded, a little over a year ago when my 20yr old decided he was serious about joining the Air Force, he is very smart, and very anti-Trump. I desperately didn't want him to join with Trump being president. He joined last August and is doing very well, I feel better about it than before, knowing many believe he is a fool and some other things he has told me (maybe just to put me at ease). I am beyond proud of my son, but my anxiety is cranked up to 11, everything is so chaotic and unpredictable.

I doubt the sirens will work or we will be issued a warning if good buddy Vlad is involved. I think it is more likely we will be occupied voluntarily or Donald will just sell it off. When your media is shut off or the electrical grid stops working that is most likely Donald and his handiwork.

The electric went off for maybe 20 seconds, I believe it may have been Sessions confirmation. I have always wondered how that happened, maybe it was nothing. Also Cspan started playing RT for a couple minutes out of nowhere. Little things like this always get my mind going.

First thing. Every morning. This is disgusting that we are in this position.

Every day I hope:

#2 That that blob hasn't started a war.

Never used to do this.

NOBODY needs this shit. Don't ever elect an empty, self-absorbed, self-aggrandizing, malignant narcissist to the highest office in the land as there is no telling what he'll do next to try to keep the spotlight on him. Unfortunately, the media have a duty to report on that office no matter who is occupying it in order to keep voters informed about what that person is doing with the public's resources and trust.

Wed Jul 17, 2019, 09:05 PM
Jul 2019

Trump is exACTly what Douglas Adams was talking about in HHGTTG:

“The President in particular is very much a figurehead — he wields no real power whatsoever. He is apparently chosen by the government, but the qualities he is required to display are not those of leadership but those of finely judged outrage. For this reason the President is always a controversial choice, always an infuriating but fascinating character. His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it. On those criteria Zaphod Beeblebrox is one of the most successful Presidents the Galaxy has ever had — he has already spent two of his ten presidential years in prison for fraud.”
