The "send her back" chant at Trump's rally was a new low. It's not only chilling, it's depressing.

It's depressing for this reason: even if good prevails, and the Republicans are absolutely trounced in the next election, the next day we will still have to live in country where about 30-35% of our fellow citizens are fascists.

When I heard clips on MSNBC, I couldn’t help wondering if there were people planted in the audience who started it. That, or operatives suggested it as the crowd filled the room. I’ve seen talk shows recorded and there are people paid to guide the audience response. It doesn’t seem far-fetched to think that might have occurred here.

Support him that are not horrible people. They just don't pay attention and they are doing well financially. They won't switch if we scare them with a zillion $ program.

It was dangerous in the former Yugoslavia as that region came apart

And it was dangerous in Rwanda

It’s not depressing or chilling it’s just a repeat performance of a very tired script. His words have become irrelevant to me. And I knew his supporters were bottom of the barrel lowlifes 4 years ago in the summer of 2015 when he announced. Nothing has changed there.

What has changed is my desire to see him defeated. That continues to grow steadily. Sometimes I allow myself to fantasize about how it all ends, but none of us can linger in that place for long. There is too much to be done.

It needs to be known who started the chant. trump's people likely started the chant and followers gonna follow.
It needs to be publicized that it is his people starting this.

If Trump wins, he's not the problem. It's the slicker version of Trump that follows the wake he created that's the problem.

That's a smart way to channel the negative reactions.

Double down in GOTV like they do and they'll admire how more unstoppable we are than they.

They just try tribal incantations. We do good democratic shit.

I am actually surprised there is so much reaction to his latest outrage since it falls right in line with the themes of his horrific rallies of 2016 on and his continuous attacks and namecalling of people of color and those who speak against him and his conduct, especially women.

There should have been more outrage over his birther attacks on Pres. Obama and over the "lock her up" chants.

The Republican Party under Trump is little more than an extremist white nationalist group at this point.

Once we win the Presidency and both houses back in 2020, measures need to be taken to have the republican party officially designated as the domestic terrorist organization it actually is. Any old school, William F. Buckley-type conservatives will need either form another political party or dismantle and reform the current republican party until every vestige of toxic white nationalism and fascism has been expunged, but I doubt they'll succeed.
