We’ve been there 3 times in the last year and this kid is scared of us. His mother my sister in law is a non voter who is both sides are bad. The 36 year old nephew is a loser who lives with a mom.

And when I married my hubby 30 years ago having a light skinned African American daughter in law was a hurtle. It wasn’t until they met my parents at the wedding did they fully accept me. Both my parents were educated people living a middle class life.
