Let The Republicans vote against overwhelming evidence of election fraud.

Mueller testifies next week. That is not going to go well for Trump. The Democrats have overwhelming evidence of Trump and his future felons committing election fraud.

I believe we are getting closer to the point where the Democrats will impeach because the evidence is so clear. The only way to get that evidence out to the people is through impeachment hearings. It will not happen on its own.

I believe with all my heart and soul, if the Democrats do not impeach Trump it will severely damage our democracy. I believe impeachment hearings will help the Democrats win the election, especially if the Republicans vote against impeachment. Only time will tell if I am right.

1. Given that he committed election fraud

He can't be allowed to run again. This is the angle we need to take with this.

And regardless, Trump wouldn't pick up one single vote that he didn't get in 2016 if the House passes articles of impeachment only to have the Republicans in the Senate refuse to convict and remove him for this felony. Not one single vote. It boggles my mind that anyone thinks one single new voter would vote for Trump simply because of a "failed impeachment" in the Senate. That makes no sense. You didn't vote for him last time, but you will this time simply because "The Democrats" failed to remove him? Crazy talk pushed by Russian trolls. Don't fall for it. He must be impeached and can't be allowed to run again considering ..... wait for it.. he committed election fraud.

2. Too late already...perception (which IS reality in this world) is he was 'cleared'...

Barr came in and did his job to a tee...he stopped the investigation within days of taking over, he then commandeered the report and slanted the initial perceptions of it for weeks, then when it was exposed as a lie, he obfuscated and sleazed away without any of the dammage being undone.

The general population MIGHT have seen the report for what it actually is if none of that had happened...but now? Too little, too late. Patience is NOT a virtue in the Instagram/Twitter world we inhabit...maybe in 1999 that advice and the current 'wait and see' strategy were valid, but we are fighting the last war by the wisdom of that time and we got it 100% dead wrong.

Nancy and the leadership do not have a secret plan that is slowly unfurling...they are having a collective panic attack because they can't enforce subpoenas, they can't get witnesses to testify in open session, they can't get unredacted reports or required by law tax returns...face it, Trump walked on all of it - collusion to commit election fraud? Yep, he did it and Nope, he ain't paying for it... Obstruction of Justice? Yep, 10 times over or more and he is not paying for it... Contempt of Congress for instructing his henchmen not to comply with investigations? Yep, and NOTHING is happening because of it.

It is too late already. Trump walks on all counts and nothing is ever going to be charged. Sadly, I doubt there will be much left to save by the 2024 campaign against the Ice Princess and Jared ticket...
