A Little "Bumper Sticker" Sloganism I'm Kicking Around
Part of the reason why RW talking points get so much traction (particularly among "low information" voters) is because they're able to turn everything into a slogan that's usually catchy, rhymes, has a repeating theme, and can easily fit on a bumper sticker. Our problem is that we can rarely turn things into bumper sticker slogans. However, here's one I've been toying with lately to see if it gains traction.
After the Jeffrey Epstein thing broke, and all the other news about how Republicans were soft on rape and kiddie rape, I started using the phrase, "The Party of Kiddie Rape," and, "Rape-publicans." However, after the rampant racism of late, I've come up with what I think could be an even more effective example of "bumper sticker sloganism" that I hope might stick if we all get it out there and keep hammering on it. Check this out: "The Party of Racism, Russians, and Rape." Or you could make a bumper sticker that says something like, "The Republican Party believes in the Three Rs: Racism, Russians, and Rape."
