In a sense, Trump is the head of the snake. When the head of the snake is cut off, the rest dies.

I know there's a good argument that Trump is a symptom and not the cause, but it's also very true that he's emboldened all these people. Once he's voted out, a lot of them will slither back under their rocks until the end of their lives.
