14. We got blown off the fricking map in Wisconsin today!

We had perfect conditions for tornadoes and a “derecho” wind event. Also severe storms last night after a couple days of severe heat (heat index over 100), that caused power station fires in Madison.

We’ve been told that the damage is so severe that they will have to rebuild our power structures before we will have electricity again. Several days at least.
Anyone else enjoying the severe weather as we are? Ugh!

I just have to go 8 miles from my home to experience desert conditions, where it is superhot. The Bay Area is funny: it has at least 20+ microclimates and you can go from our place where it's 65 degrees and be in a place where it's 85 degress in a few miles.
