End Times prepper pastor Jim Bakker warned on his television program today that if President Trump is not re-elected in 2020, Christian leaders and politicians will be murdered in the streets.
How come [Trump] was elected? Bakker asked. Because Gods people voted and the world knows it, the enemies of the gospel know it.
Im going to say something I probably shouldnt say, he added. Whats coming next, if we keep losing, youre going to see the leaders of the church and the leaders of the gospel and the political conservative leaders that are powerful, you are going to see them suddenly die, suddenly killedsuddenly as they were driving, suddenly as they were in a boat, suddenly in an airplaneyoure going to see it one after another.
God spoke this to me years ago what would happen near the end and I believe were in that time, Bakker warned. This is life and death. This is the hatred of murder is in the country.

I'm sure there's a rock somewhere with Jim Baker's name on it somewhere, at least the one he crawled out from under.

(16,446 posts)"A cover-up of hush money paid to a church secretary, Jessica Hahn, for an alleged rape led to his resignation from the ministry. Subsequent revelations of accounting fraud brought about his conviction, imprisonment and divorce. Bakker later remarried and returned to televangelism, where he founded his new ministry Morningside Church in Blue Eye, Missouri and currently hosts The Jim Bakker Show, which focuses on the end of days and return of Christ."....(more)

(18,579 posts)Our young Pastor gave a Sermon on how the Church must change if we are to survive. Asking for ideas on how we can do that.
Pretty good explanation of why these Pastors are ranting and raving. They know time is running out. Churches closing, congregations shrinking, the young turning away in droves.
Less and less saying they are Christian.

People who believe they'll live for eternity in a heavenly world.
People who believe that the USA is the greatest country in history, and who don't want to hear any criticisms of it.
People who believe that their skin color makes them superior to others.
People who deny climate change because it's unpleasant.
After truth and facts take a backseat to someone's ego and personal desires, it's surely easier for them to start applying the same mental gymnastics to all kinds of subjects.

I certainly hope Trump is not re-installed (you can't be re-elected until you are elected once already), and I certainly have no intention of murdering Christians or anyone else. Mr. Bakker must know something we don't. Maybe he and his Republican pals are planning to murder a number of their "Christian" friends (collateral damage, as they call it), and then blame it on the libbruls?

Of course, if there is a "maker," he or she is going to lock the pearly gates at the sight of them.
