1. The upcoming election boils down to Moral vs. Immoral

While issues are important and voters should be educated enough about them, the question is...What kind of country do we want for the next generations to live in?

One where Overt racism, lawlessness, concentrated wealth among the few, disregard for the rule of law and the US Constitution, suspension of Constitutional rights, Civil Rights, etc? A country where principles and values no longer mean anything?

I am reminded of the segments on the MSNBC shows that featured Tim Wise, a pundit instrumental in making sure KKK Grand Wizard David Duke never held any political office. Wise says that Democrats have to stop being members of the Debate Team and become the Cheerleading Squad in standing up for Principles and Values that make this country the beacon on the Hill to the rest of the world. Wise says that we should indeed care about the issues, but care even more for the soul of this country and the direction it is currently going in. Make it personal and Democrats win.

They need to make sure that even the lowest information voter, the most unaware of politics become hyper aware of who and what this guy and his party are.

They need to be hit in the face every day with the simple fact that The Republican Party and it's current leader are, in fact, white supremacists (and that is putting it in the kindest, mildest terms possible).

bombing attempt,

"You have to be lucky every time, we only have to be lucky once"

And that's how I view the whole Trump/Barr/GOP blocking of the truth. Trump has been lucky so far, but he needs to be lucky every time.

that way and has NO chance to win in 2020 if we all get off our asses and vote and not play the ideological purity games that cost democrats and america bigtime in 2000 and 2016

1. Democrats don't focus on issues that voters in WI, MI, PA care about.

2. Democrats DO focus on Trump's behavior, Impeachment, etc.

Too many Democratic voters sat on their hands and did not vote. They voted in 2018 and we won.

Blaming it on Russia or cheating when we did not get our vote out invites the same behavior in the future.

When we turn out our voters we win.

...but I don't see it as resulting in "stealing" the election. We've won elections before when Republicans attempted to suppress voting. We lost this election largely because the Clinton campaign made tactical campaign errors based on a flawed strategic assumption that voters who supported Obama could be relied upon to support Clinton. And I based that assessment on talking to battleground State Party Chairs and my own experience on the ground in Ohio.

to me that is election theft. That seems to be the case in MI and WI. (and other States as well, Ohio is always suspect)
I am tired of accepting that we have to win by 5% or 10% just to break even.

disagrees with you. He says the Dems win by making this a referendum on Trump’s racism. That we need to paint him as a black-souled white supremacist. He also says we will never win by acting like a debating team, that we need to act more like the cheerleader squad. I wish I had the link, he makes very persuasive arguments.
