RAchel and Nicole puzzling over why McConnell & Co. won't get behind the election security bill ...

Today after the hearing, on her show Nicole was talking to Rachel on the phone, wondering if after what Mueller said about election vulnerability, now FINALLY Mitch and the Rs will get behind the election security bill and puzzling over why they haven't been willing to support it, as in can't they see the need for it?

I was surprised that even Rachel doesn't seem to be able to connect the dots on why they want to keep the election infrastructure insecure and subject to manipulation.

Is there anyone here who doesn't get that it's because it benefits them? It's how they win?

on Mitch? This goes beyond just power and greed to me now. It's self preservation.

Mitch needs to go away, and I hope someday we find out his dirty secrets.

Russia to continue to commit cyber warfare and attack our elections since it benefits the GOP. It is the only way that they can get elected and reelected and it benefits their pocketbooks/Swiss bank accounts....it's a win-win for them.

Committees in SC and Georgia, I think; expected to get the commitment in North Carolina this Sunday.

No way for voter to read a barcode to know how their vote was recorded.
Not to mention numerous other problems.

Dominion and ES&S are full of corrupt cons, foreigners (especially Serbian); and partisans.

Holy shit.. McConnell has zero intention of holding up to his oath of office. He can stop this shit and refuses to do it.

going to the public with Russian interference when Obama wanted to do it in 2016.. I was incredulous that they were wondering why, particularly Rachel who is usually so good at dot -connecting.

Their actions and associations speak volumes. McConnell and Co are compromised 100% and are protecting their own self interests.

Maybe after this they will finallly put two and two together:

She said what she should about McConnell blocking and in a great piece of news, reported that Sen Warner is now trying to force a vote on it. Warner is my senator and his conservatism has been frustrating, but it has allowed him to build a great deal of credibility in the Senate, so he is one of the best Dems to push McConnell against the wall for us on this.
