A similar poll at a Repuglican site would certainly yield the same kind of result.

The 'base' of either party is not going to be influenced by TV ads.

But, I don't think that is going to be the purpose of Rmoney-Rove advertising during the next couple of months.

I suspect that they want to discourage marginal independents and Democrats from voting at all -- so their ads will be lying, deceitful, race-baiting and ugly.

The gut wrenching aspect of this is ... how do you combat such brazen deceit without feeding into the very disgustingness that will cause marginal voters to decide politics is too dirty and deciding not to vote at all?

Probably won't find too many of them here.

(My personal opinion on "undecideds" is that they don't pay attention, don't give a shit, and probably won't even vote. So the ads are an egregious waste of money.)
