I had to turn off MSNBC in the 11th Hour.

The defeatism and acceptance of Trump's "getting away with everything" made me queasy.

Unreal.

The fallback for host and guests is the 2020 election. But the host teed up the next story, which was to be McConnell's rejection of election security legislation.

I turned it off.

I'll look for his video clip. I wonder if Brian brought him on to tell us how to cope with the coming authoritarian regime after 2020. (sarcasm)

He had on guests who wanted some action on impeachment. I believe he is correct when he says that the Dems need to show strength and this waiting for this and that in the courts does not look strong.

Part of the reason rump was elected is because people wanted to see toughness and strength.

The court is the only way we can get witnesses. We need factual witnesses not just a redacted report.

5. I find it sad that people believe that there is something we can do to get trump

out of office beside voting him out. We could spend this time with tv ads and billboards convincing people to vote trump out.

Instead we are pulling our hair out because Speaker Pelosi knows that we have little support and no factual witnesses and no help from the Senate. An acquittal in the Senate will not get more people to vote against trump.

7. and what makes you think we can vote him out when EVERY expert is telling us the elections ..

...will not be free and fair?

Wake up!

Trump himself told us from the Oval Office that he will accept help from foreign adversaries. "Why not? Everyone does it!" he said.

The director of the FBI told us this week that Russians are aggressively interfering in our election again.

The Special Counsel who investigated the Russian conspiracy with Trump warned us that Congress should take action to protect our election.

McConnell refuses to allow election security legislation to come to the floor.

News of states purchasing new systems that are HACKABLE and ALTERABLE comes every day.

Other measures of vote suppression continue.

And you..............think in some fantasy terms that we can simply vote him out.

Wake up!

There is very little to enjoy on that network anymore. I miss the days of Phil Donahue and Ed Schultz.
