aren't distracted. It's a slow process. In a way, these distractions may help the impeachment move faster, IMO. Work can proceed without tv time. (e.g. Adam Schiff).

45 says or does something horrible and inexcusable.

People with sense and decency scream horrible and inexcusable thing #1,000,000!

His base reflexively jumps into defense mode and diligently excuses it.

Rinse and repeat.

He has to keep the base in a furor to control them and use them to bully the party and country.
