That's hardly a failure. In fact, it was pretty successful.

came from Russia, it did get repeated here a little bit.

4. The media is actually covering impeachment

stories now. The mainstream publications that regular citizens might read... Time, Newsweek, USA Today, all the big city dailies are giving more space to the possibility of impeaching Trump since Mueller made it clear that Trump was not the innocent he claims to be.

They are also getting bolder to calling out Trump's lies and his divisive tactics to create suspicion and stir up hate as he promotes the violence of white supremacy.

10. People are looking at the wrong indicators to assess his testimony

Most pundits seem to be looking at either public opinion polls or whether they themselves got a tingle up their leg.

But the the real indicator is whether his testimony actually affected the people who have to vote on impeachment (both to support an inquiry and to approve Articles of Impeachment at the end of the inquiry). That's really all that matters when analyzing how much impact the testimony had.. And by that measure, it was hugely successful in the sort term.

And given how much information Mueller confirmed in the record that provides even more of a foundation for future action by the investigating committees while also effectvely shutting down the Trump-Barr "No Obstruction No Collusion" defense, his appearance will probably be looked back on as a home run.
