Are you able to ignore the the right-wing noise machine?

People like Limbaugh and Hannity?

People like Donald Trump?

Or do you allow yourself to be pre-occupied with their bullshit?

I will admit that it is hard to ignore Donald Trump because he is always yelling and saying outlandish BS.

But, sometimes you have to compartmentalize. You have to put them in a back drawer and give yourself a break.

And you tell yourself it is for your own mental well-being?

Or do you enjoy being in their face every day? All day long?

Just think about how you are depriving them of the attention they crave? They need the attention like roaches need darkness.

Are you able to put them in a compartment and keep them there for as long as you like? I am working on it.

always pay attention to the GOP leadership. Can't fight against them if I don't know what they're doing.

I get the news from DU but don't watch clips - video or audio. Can't do it to myself. I've put essentially all media in a big, sturdy box and locked it up.

My attempts for positive change are by sharing and teaching gardening, positive things.

I'd have to seek them out, and I certainly dont do that. As for tRump, if an excerpt of his babbling happens to play on NPR, turning the volume down, plugging my ears, or singing loudly, as convenient, does the trick. You should try it.

But I do belong to another forum where Democrats and members of the KGOP engage in debate. If I don't watch it, I become completely enraged. So, right now I'm taking a break from that place just for my own sanity. Trumpers believe in the most bizarre things. Like they think witches are actually real and they're infesting all the colleges and universities. Say what? That's the sort of people who support tRump. God help us all.

"Because he gets reactions out of it..."

Our television plays DVDs and Netflix. That's all it does. No broadcast, no cable, no satellite.

My life is much better without television news, opinion, or commercials.

Years ago we had Comcast. I remember thinking "Why am I paying to have this garbage delivered to my house?"

I read all my news. We subscribe to the local paper, pick up the free Weekly, and have subscriptions to a few solid news sites. I also read a couple of foreign news sites and occasionally send money to The Gaurdian.

By reading it's easy to skip past whatever shit President Asshole is spewing. He's just a meat puppet anyways. His only real job is to sign the papers his masters place in front of him. It's these papers we ought to be paying attention to.

The first thing aired was the Beatles "Here Comes the Sun". I could go on and on about all their progamming, but suffice to say I don't have to listen to Chuck Todd or Liz Cheney.

I simply have a zero tolerance policy for MSM in my home and working environment.
