Having both waited tables and tended bar, I love these.

a day. It's open from 6 to 3. The wait staff made a bundle. She knew which country stars were cool, which were assholes, the gay and the adulterers. She also knew who sold the best weed, and the record execs that were coked out. Most of all she knew the ones that hid their male pattern baldness with a cowboy hat.

waiting on people in bars and restaurants. Customers have no idea how obvious they are and how perceptive the staff is.
