(7,142 posts)It wasn't just about the switching of water sources. There are probably millions of towns and cities that have cast iron pipes supplying water to people. I live in a small borough of 2,000 people in central Pa. and we have pristine water that runs through cast iron pipes. The main supply line that brings water to my property is cast iron.

(13,772 posts)Yes, I know that it had to do with the acidity of the new water, but the point was that they switched water to reduce costs and then intentionally ignored the problems it caused, because it was Flint - not Grosse Point.
