I've come to believe that McConnell is actually more loathsome than Trump himself, if that's even possible.

21. Sure. Trump is more openly, obviously vile, but...

...everything he does has McConnell's tacit approval. He's the one blocking effective oversight of the executive branch, most prominently impeachment. If he didn't subvert the system, Trump would have been impeached long ago, or never have squeaked the election in first place.
