this storm. Someone posted the break down of the last Vote Buying by Trump and it looking more and more like the feared Shake out is about to start. All those overseas Markets are gone and if there are any sales,it will be at give away pricing and we picking up the freight.

So,get ready for a ton of Farm Bankruptcies followed by Foreclosures. Hearing from the Auctioneer Cousins in Ohio that they are booked through next year. Not good.

Hedge Funds have been accumulating Tillable Acreage for the last ten years. Very familiar with what I discovered last Summer in South Western Minnesota while visiting with the local ASCS Office Person in our Rellies County. She pointed out how the Wall Street people have set up Corporate Operating Companies that purchase Tillable Farms and Hire Farm Managers to run operations and in several cases, the previous owner is the manager paid on a salary basis.

If you have been following IPO's coming to market, well, there was a spat of IPO's and Bond offerings that were these Farm Operations just going public in order to spread the risk to the unsuspecting public.

If you are not running three thousand acres or more, you are not a viable entity in the Ag Business .

Something that popped this AM was the glut of Ethanol sitting in Storage tanks in the Midwest. So,there goes the Corn Markets as soon as the present Contracts are filled.

Guess who gets the most money in that plan?

But it is hard to feel sorry for small and medium sized farmers, they largely are a big part of the reason why the Republican Party is still alive.

these Counties are run by very conservative Commissioners which set the stage for the Rethug power base. Familiar with a few counties as to the make up of their County Commissions, the largest Farm in that county also has a family member as a Commissionaire. And this is so prevalent through out the Farm States.

The old money families lost their grip here over time. Their power came from lumber, fresh vegetable and live animal wholesaling, citrus farming. All those are either dead or are a shadow of what they once were.

is pretty much lily White Folks who have lived in that area since the late 1800's. Interesting thing is,these Folks are dependent on the new Immigrants to do most of their labor. Most of the younger folks have migrated to the big population centers and only go back to the rural areas for special occasions.

The rural communities that have a large Food Manufacturing operations are still run by the old landed Families and the new Immigrants are the focus of their spite.
