What happened to good guys with guns?

I thought the rationale for arming every sentient being in the country was to insure that the good guys would be able to stop the bad guys with guns.
When’s the last time a civilian stopped a tragedy, instead of caused it? As usual, it is the police that move in to stop the carnage.

4. If you think you need an assault rifle to protect yourself you are in much more trouble than

you realize. Leave it to those who are trained. No case of a civilian armed with a military style weapon who has stopped a tragedy from unfolding. Shoot outs are for the movies.

Today's shooting happened at a Walmart in El Paso, in one of the reddest districts in the reddest state in the country. You would think that there would be plenty of rootin' tootin' 2A tough guys who shoot first and ask questions later would have 2A'd the shooter before he was able to pull the trigger, but guess they weren't.

The truly hardcore 2A people talk a lot of shit, but deep down, they're cowards.
