The Massacre in Massacre Mitch is an adjective, not a verb. Hope that clears up any lingering confusion. Nobody is advocating for the massacre of Mitch (Can you even "massacre" one person?); it's a descriptor befitting Mitch's intransigence in considering any reasonable regulation of firearms. It seems there are quite a few citizens who can't handle firearms responsibly; when that happens in practically any other sector of our society, government steps in with regulations so as to limit irresponsible behavior and to provide a legal framework for stopping or prosecuting those who insist on being irresponsible.

We all need to be able to reflective about violent rhetoric. Not only are we creating a possible danger, we are undermining our argument that the GOP needs to rachet down theirs.

We can't excuse our people and be credible in our criticism of Trump or Republicans.

Anti-McConnell protesters were yelling profanity so why is McConnell being blocked and not the protesters? I am not saying I want the protesters blocked...I support them. What am I missing?

I assumed he was being blocked over the white dudes in Team McConnell shirts pretending to choke and grope a cardboard cutout of AOC...
