Mariel Colón Miró, one of the attorneys for Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman, was one of the witnesses on his new will
This was reported by the NY Daily News and confirmed by Ms Miro

I doubt there was anything weird or nefarious about it. If you're in jail and you need your will witnessed, your options are limited. Lawyers who represent bad people are not necessarily also bad people.

I just think it's interesting. Not in a conspiratorial way, just the weirdness of it.
Of all the people available to sign the will it was her.

on edit:
If I were writing a movie or TV series about something similar and added that, people would say, "Oh, come on! That's absurd. Never happen."
