US citizens of conscience should be in the streets in front of the Chinese embassy in Washington DC and New York supporting the pro-democracy protestors.

when nieces and nephews ask crazy uncle what he looks for in a political candidate reply is always--just like a candidate for any other job, I don't care if they are beautifully black, wonderfully white, or some glorious shade of brown. Rich or poor; short or tall; young or old; boobs or balls; what matters is BRAINS AND BACKBONE. This is a rock solid example of the latter--(Danish king CHRISTIAN X would be so proud)

Germany took over the country and ordered the government to make all Jews wear the yellow armband. The next day the king rode his horse through the park, as he always did, wearing the armband himself. He was the only one in the country wearing one.
