4. Mr. President, Pay Attention

Just last week the government announced that the number of jobs created in 2018 was adjusted downward by 501,000 AND the CBO revised their estimate upwards on the budget deficit by $800 billion over the next 10 years. Both are unheard of in size bringing into question why are the preliminary government numbers off by such a large amount? Are the government agencies now cooking to books to please the boss? This also suggests there will be other alarming adjustments as well, such as a downward adjustment on GDP. Fasten seat belts, it could be a rough ride ahead.
