But Trump will "win" on China. He's already won really, zero leaders have questioned our deal with China and maybe it isn't really very bad. Is the trade deal with China perfect? Heck no, like all deals it's some good and some bad. We need to do something to reign China in in regards to IP theft. But know that trade with China has created a truly global economy that has lifted millions out of poverty. Can the deal be better? Absolutely, but people are just conceding the point to Trump that it was the worst deal ever.

He'll cut a crummy deal with China, it won't do much for US workers, but he'll act like he's made a massive deal that is meaningful. But deal or no deal, doesn't really matter, the recession is likely already written in stone.
