You do not gain an environmental conscience when your income dips below a certain level, nor do you necessarily lose it if your income goes above a certain level.

it's not the meat, it's the motion.
In other words, It doesn't matter how much money you have, it's how you use it. Do you have 30 people you would invite for a dinner and allow them to stay overnight? Check yes or no. I guess I should go back to working on my 2nd billion, the first billion was too hard to make.

Even if I had billions of dollars, I would still want to live in a charming, old, smaller modest home. I don't understand the need for these sprawling monstrosities.

(63,221 posts)Especially since they generally replace them with tacky, modern mega-mansions. I wish there was a law against demolishing old, historic homes. I guess preservation societies do some of that work, but I don't think they can do much when it comes to private properties.
