(12,712 posts)Last I read, there were two vehicles involved, so two shooters.
The second one was said to be the USPS truck and that person was still shooting randomly at vehicles and people.
Did that report change?

(31,261 posts)Fortunately for people in the target zone for him, he mentioned it to his then girlfriend, who freaked and went to talk to police.
What will it take? A guy who has a goal to kill hundreds, selects his target for the slaughter well, practices shooting accuracy at a gun range including how to rapidly unjam a gun and return to killing people, and keeps his mouth shut during the whole time. Sounds harsh? That is where we are headed, I am afraid, and the type of person that I described IS out there somewhere and is going to erupt.

(737 posts)We have, like you, a seemingly limitless supply of inadequate, white, male virgins. Some of them are mentally ill, many of them spend their lives playing computer games. The difference is, of course, that they aren't allowed guns. Curiously, there is no clamour from these inadequate, white, male virgins that they should be allowed guns. In fact I'm not aware of anywhere in the world where there is public clamour for gun laws to be brought into line with the US.
Why don't you have something akin to public liability insurance for guns? Surely the premiums would be prohibitive, without damaging anyone's constitutional rights.
