Anyone else getting repeated robocalls from the Republican National Committee?

The last week or so I have been getting multiple calls a day from what is identified on caller ID as the RNC. If I pick up the phone, a voice asks if ***** not me is here, just a moment ago the call asked for "Jake". Then when I respond, the robo voice says this is a call from the Republican National Committee and POTUS Trump. We will update out records. Thank you. End of call. It makes no difference if I state I am not whomever and cuss or otherwise be hostile. Just surprise at this point the calls continue.

This is sort of a sore issue for me because the Democratic party seems to have zeroed out my zip code since 2016. I live very rural and remote but in California in a low population area in the middle of vast federal land area and the population is about 50% Native American. There are red necks and Trump supporters (a disconnect for me that a NA supports Trump but it is common among the older local NA and younger folks are much more concern with Tribal politics than State or Federal).

The paranoid part of me thinks the multiple calls are some sort of intelligence gathering operation.

I live in a somewhat rural area of W. Pa. I get the calls on both the land line and a VOIP line. I expect it's because this county voted for Cheetolini 2:1 over Clinton.

I have a cell phone but it does not work locally, no cell towers nearby and very mountainous terrain. I can Facetime over the Wifi with several friends but the cell is for travel to "town" (regional small urban area 85 mile drive to significant retail, medical, and nearest stop light).

The county voted for Clinton in 2016 and in the 2016 primary gross vote totals were Sanders, Clinton, Trump with Trump less than 50% of either Democratic candidate. The HRC campaign totally ignored where I live but the Sanders and Trump campaigns did not.

Point is I don't think the calls are because this is a Trump/GOP area because it isn't aside from some demographics, small and in decline, and other folks that need there mind examined for function.

I never pick up. I live in Cook County, IL, which voted heavily against Spanky and in the Chicago area that he disses and doesn't visit. Go figure.

I unloaded this will not happen again. I do get letters from Pence with polls but thankfully no calls.

I can see some dark political strategist systematically calling landlines by computer and compiling the information for some political use.

The giveaway is when you think something or someone is implanting thoughts into your brain. A segment of the Federal Government that still just barely works says there is good reason to be concerned about manipulation.

No direct implants of thoughts and I seldom watch TV news. We are most certainly groomed and deliberately confused as a society. But repeated intrusive calls on landline is another matter. Plus hard to tell what the RNC calls really want. Mostly I don't pick up any calls unless I recognize the caller. Plus my message function is full. I irritate some caring friends because of my phone habits (don't answer) and that I live in boonies and am under treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma)

I continually block their calls, but they just come back with another number. Thank heavens for Caller ID!

I've gotten a few of these. I suspect it is from GOP organizations that are trying to build call lists for future activities.

Seems what works for the GOP would work for the Democratic party.

crap on the floor.

I would totally ignore the calls but picked one up and then several other times just to see what had to say. The calls are quickly terminated with the statement that the records will be updated after I say there is no "****" here, no questioning or asking for donations.

from their party, from the NRA and from RW groups.

The only thing I can guess is that I am white, male senior in a rural area.
