We don't know if the promise was ever fulfilled. Did Russia want us out of Afghanistan? Could it have something to do with Syria? Maybe it was a promise NOT to do something.

10. My theory:

1. Trump calls Ukraine’s Zelensky, threatens aid to Ukraine if they don’t give him dirt on Biden (this we know to be true already)

2. Zelensky tells Trump to go Cheney himself.

3. Trump then calls his buddy Vlad Putin.

4. Trump tells Putin he is free to have at it and ramp up military actions in Eastern Ukraine and that there will be no negative consequences (sanctions or anything else) for whatever he does.
