Trump's extortion of Ukraine isn't about Biden. It's about Donbas. This is Trump dealing for Putin!

HOLY SHIT. Trump’s extortion of Ukraine isn’t about Biden. It’s about Donbas. Ukraine pulled its troops, ceding it to Russia; then Trump released the aid. The Biden thing is a red herring. This is Trump dealing for Putin!

With the new Ukrainian president suddenly withdrawing his troops from eastern Ukraine & Putin reinforcing his troops there, the deal our tax dollars ( Trump’s so-called “military aid” ) funded is complete. That’s called a quid pro quo w/ extortion, treason & other felonies.

Russia sent another resupply convoy to its army invading Ukraine in Donbas. It's the 84th such delivery of matériel since Putin's War began in 2014. The Russians again disguised the convoy as "humanitarian aid" but the trucks were not inspected by any competent authority.

3. Maybe this is why he and Rudy are "confessing" to the Biden thing.

So we don't notice the much bigger issue at play here.

19. EXACTLY! Conspiring against our alliesis

immensely worse than just against the opposition party (because it actually does both).

They are fessing up to the lesser of the two while also making the case that there’s nothing wrong with “getting info from a foreign source regarding a political opponent — doesn’t matter; everybody does it”. They think they can manage the message and consequences via their party and their base. Ain’t going to happen if this is in fact the case.

What tRump has done (if this is true) is treasonous regarding treaties and long standing alliances. Our allies in Europe are not the GOP or tRump’s deplorable base. They aren’t ideologically loyal to tRump and Faux News doesn’t control the messaging in Europe.

If this is real, the shit is about to fly in DC.
And Pelosi damn well better get on board with her constituents.

5. Maybe it's about both. Mangolini gets Biden dirt and Putin gets Ukraine. Sounds fair to me.

Both of these tweeters have lots of followers, but none of the followers are the pundits, journalists, etc you usually see in most reliable tweets

I'm not an expert, just sayin

11. I still think the Biden issue is the bigger deal

The Donbas wheeling and dealing doesn’t appear to be that different from typical US diplomacy (see Cuban missile crisis and Turkish bases).

14. This is about Trump staying out of prison by hanging on to his Russian cohen.

This is also about the loyalists who want to return this country to oligarchal rule.

20. He'll stay out of prison because of....

his 'Roy Cohn' at the head of the Justice Department. I think the coup d'état has already been completed, but we're still trying to close the barn door after the horse is already galloping around the field.

22. Him, too. For sure. We'll see what this whistleblower battle will do reveal who the REAL coup is.

The horse will tell us who opened the door when we catch it.

17. Doesn't the president have the authority to make a deal with another country like this?

So on the surface it could be presented as normal, secret dealings.

The crux is, what is the reason he agreed to this?
Was it done in America's best interest or in his own personal interest?
What does Putin offer America in return?

Of course we know the answer, partially.
It is not done in America's interest and probably to America's detriment.
Just what Trump personally receives from this kind of transaction is still unknown.

Why is he such a Toady to Putin? What does Putin have over him?
I've heard that he could be in debt to Russians but that doesn't seem to be enough to
cause him to act in such a drastic way.

There must be something going on behind the curtain that is much bigger than anything
reported up to now.

21. What does Putin have to offer America?

I think what you mean to say is, 'what does Putin have to offer Donald Trump'?

Another four years in office, of course, and the complete destruction of American Democracy. What more could Putin, Trump, and the GOP hope for?
