Warren calls it like it is

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by George II (a host of the General Discussion forum).

Nancy Pelosi is showing a failure of nerve, just with her sternly worded letter and/or tweets. It is not 12-dimensional chess. I really thought being from S.F. she would be(come) more bolder, but I was wrong.

Warren has the boldness I think we all need: https://truthout.org/articles/warren-accuses-congress-of-complicity-in-trumps-continued-abuses/

I was hesitant to support her given her Republican background which still makes me uneasy, but her saying in effect enough is enough is enough to make me switch my support to her.

and then trashes her when she won't jump through your hoops.
I'm with Pelosi and she is smarter than maybe even most people here.

and that is Pelosi will be president after impeachment and if she pushes for impeachment then the republicons can say this is a coup and that Pelosi just wants to be president and then it's worse. So having all these others pushing her is plausible deniability for her "wanting to be president."

The articles of impeachment are in place. Nadler did this last week. Investigations are on going. This takes time as it did with Nixon. She does not have the votes in Congress, why aren't you going after the Democratic members that refuse to vote impeachment? Why aren't you criticizing the no vote of every REPUBLICAN!

And lest we forget. From your link:

“In 1974, Democrats and Republicans united in support of impeachment not out of mutual contempt for Nixon but mutual respect for the rule of law,” Warren tweeted. “Congress refused to be complicit in future law-breaking by Nixon or other presidents. It’s time for this Congress to step up and act.”

Key word here. DEMOCRATS and REPUBLICANS UNITED!!!

I was hesitant to support her given her Republican background which still makes me uneasy, but her saying in effect enough is enough is enough to make me switch my support to her.

So not her record in the Senate. Not her the baby she built, CFPB. Not the fact that the GOP tried to destroy her and denied her the position to head the Bureau she created. Not one of those things made you change your vote to my Senator. Just the fact that she said "enough is enough".

but her saying in effect enough is enough is enough to make me switch my support to her.

Personally I am upset with her word 'complicit'.
