47. I have often had flights of fantasy in which young people come from

the future to hold trials of those who are purposely destroying the earth in the name of shareholder profits. In the waking dream, they come, make arrests and hold televised trials which are viewed by all people - trials where the actual truth is told, and where the nightmare scenarios of today bear out in the testimony of future children.

Thunberg's testimony was moving because it is a sort of waking dream come true.

We'd better get our shit together and move aggressively around some kind of green new deal. To continue to inhabit this planet we've got to get rid of the lust for wealth and power, and begin planning forward as a species. It is time.

If we don't, we'll go extinct. I DON'T want my grandkids to live in a world like this, and it is shameful that this is allowed to exist now and that other peoples' grandchildren are growing up in places like this:
