In 15 minutes the new season of "Doctor Who" starts in Britain, so I'm entering internet silence until we can watch it later tonight.
I'll be back some time tomorrow probably.

(9,612 posts)7 Eastern if I'm not mistaken. However, a lot of our online friends are in the UK and we don't want to have any surprises ruined tonight.

(22,308 posts)They way they left it I thought the series had ended (not that Dr. Who could ever really end).
Any idea which BBC channel it would be on? There are quite a few here:

(9,612 posts)In the United States it will be on BBC America at 7PM Eastern.
In Australia it can be streamed through the ABC's online service at 5:10 AM (10 minutes after it ends in the UK).
There are five episodes over the next five weeks, which will end with Amy and Rory leaving the show. The new companion, Clara, debuts in the Christmas Special, then there will be eight more episodes in the winter or spring, leading up to the 50th Anniversary season in the fall. Matt Smith has said he's going to stay as the Doctor at least through the end of 2013.
