Many condo associations have strict rules about political signage, etc. I had a number of miserable run-ins with the Board at a former home over issues big and small. They almost always get their way.

also I ran for US Congress in 1990 and took a yard sign case to the US Supreme Court, they ordered the Washington State Supreme Court to hear the case and I won it 9-0 part of the suit had to do with the right of electoral signage in condos and home owner associations

My response was meant in a cautionary manner since condo boards can levy significant financial penalties to owners who violate their policies. Obviously, you know this and I hope my response didn't seem patronizing.

no need to worry about me, I figured it out before I did it!!! But I do know what you mean about condo boards, they can be petty and a pain in the ass.

there are pockets of rabid Chump lovers that surface occasionally in the area. I almost lost my eldest son to a marriage into a "humper" family. Fortunately, of his own choosing, he came to his senses in time! They'd have no problem stripping my car of all paint over such a sign!
