The Justice Dept. put out a statement that Barr never knew about the call until the matter was referred for a criminal investigation. According to Justice the president has never talked to Barr about this, nor has Barr talked to anyone in Ukraine about it nor to Giulliani about it.

The other thing is, I think the impeachment inquiry should include ALL of Trump's impeachable offenses -- the emoluments clause violations, the obstruction of justice, campaign finance violations, abuses of power, and more. You can't run off in all directions at once, but I think as this unfolds the Democrats in the House must include these other actions as well as others that come from the investigation to reveal the extent of Trump's perfidy.
