I just returned from my annual physical exam. I'm 66 years old.
Apparently I am in the same condition Trump's doctor wants you to think Trump is in. Except for me, it's real.

2. Congrats to you!
I also went for my physical exam recently, about a week ago, and the doc told me I'm in good shape for my age (61). Here's hoping I won't need to see him again until next year.

9. Yup. My first thought too.
That is excellent news for anyone you’re age! Whatever he’s doing he should keep continue.

10. I have plenty of time to think about that.
First I have to get in as good a shape as Joe Biden.

7. I went to the doctor and he told me I was fat.
I said I wanted a second opinion.
He said, "Okay. You're ugly too." I know. Stolen from Rodney D. |

8. My doctor wanted to do a prostate exam.
I asked her if she could use two fingers. She asked why I would want her to do that. I said so I could get a second opinion.

11. I think you will start hearing a lot of health reports like yours.
The middle and late boomers appear to be healthier than their earlier boomer counterparts, and generations after the boomers even healthier on average.
I am late boomer and my health scans are that of a man at least 20 years younger. |

12. I could work on my diet more,
I do take meds for blood pressure and Cholesterol, and I need to lose some weight. I know I am glad I quit smoking 17 years ago.

14. Blood pressure can be tricky.
So many factors beyond diet and physical activity can affect BP, like job stress, life stress, heridity factors. But it never hurts to look at your diet for improvement. I personally stay away from fad diets, chosing to eat what I want in moderation and watching sodium and saturated fat intake.

16. True. One does not have to 100% deprive themselves of any type of food.
Barring obvious things like allergies, of course. But moderation and portion size makes a big difference.

Like what you need to change. I really hate clever doctors, fortunately all the ones that I have had longterm have been very good at communication.

18. My doctor is a woman, and she communicates well.
She asks the right questions and acts as if she will spend all the time she needs to with you. I never feel rushed and she never seems to be either.

19. I have been successful
at managing the "old man" maladies of hypertension and diabetes. My current doc (now a young woman) is wonderful. I send her monthly updates of weight, BP, and blood glucose. She sends back words of encouragement. She calls herself my "accountability buddy".
